Problems with Sharing Documents

With the latest update to both PAGES and NUMBERS, the "Share" function is no longer working. When I select "Share" a document to email it, It no longer attaches a copy of the document to the email.

In either application, View menu : Customize Toolbar… . On that panel, drag and drop the Send a Copy icon onto the application toolbar, just left of the Format button. If your document/spreadsheet is not wide enough, this new tool bar item will not appear.

With an open document in the respective application, you click that Send a Copy toolbar item, and its menu will show Mail, etc. Click Mail, and you will have a choice of attachment type before a new Mail compose window launches with the current document attached.

Look at System Preferences : Extensions : Share Menu. By default, Mail should be selected. If not, can you select it?

If Mail was already selected, or you cannot select it — quit Pages from its application menu, or by ⌘-Q.

Open the Terminal application (Dock : Launchpad : Other : Terminal). From the following Apple article, If Share options or Markup is missing after upgrading..., triple-click the scrollable command content, and copy/paste into the open Terminal window. Press return. The next Terminal prompt will indicate that the command has finished.

Revisit the first sentence to confirm Mail is selected there. Launch Pages, and see if Mail now appears on the Send a Copy menu.
