Siri language auto detection

I speak English and Spanish, and would like Siri to be AI enough to detect the language of content and act accordingly. For example, I receive messages in those two languages, but Siri is only able to read back messages (AppleCar) in English, turning the Spanish message readout into a funny/useless string of sound-like English words.

Does this actually exist and needs to be turned on, or is just me day dreaming?
