How do I merge my APFS Container with my APFS Volume?

For the past month I've been stuck with disk full messages and not being to able Photoshop and other software since the scratch disks are full.

I've had a bootcamp partition that I no longer use and have been trying to delete it and merge it with my original hard drive so it becomes one piece again. But with the new apple APFS system it has become a bit confusing. My mac is currently running Mojave.

These are the hard drives I'm dealing with, when I try to partition it gives no option to turn the container into "Free Space" so I can add it back to my original Volume.

Many thanks in advance.

From you last image, with the disk selected in the sidebar, click on the Partition button. Then in the circle area select container disk1 on the left side to highlight it and select the minus sign under the image. Everything should restore to Untitled partition.

This should not erase the Untitled Container partition, but you should have a backup just in case something goes wrong.

And from the image you show, it looks like you already clicked the plus sign to add. You need to do what I said before that point. The resizing selection point will not be showing. If you can't accomplish it while booted from the drive, then try from Recovery Mode. Just be sure not to erase the partition to the right containing your information.

Well I see a screen shot will cause the points around the circle to appear, so possibly you didn't do it wrong. You may just need to do it from Recovery mode.

Also, if you intend to erase the disk completely, then you can't be booted into it. You will have to boot from recovery mode, or from another drive. When you erase the disk, you would have to restore your software. If you have a Time Machine backup, you can do that from recovery mode.
