Apple ID verification failed

I have an iPad Mini with iOS 9.3.5

My problem started with it not connecting to Wifi

-Reset network settings

-Reset whole device

-Tried on different Wifi

-I synchronized it with iTunes

-Disabled the "find my ipad"

-Checked time/date

-Wifi sign is greyed out and bluetooth is also

None of the above options worked.

The only way I managed connection was sharing data from my iPhone to connect it and it worked.

Now after a complete restore when I start to configure the iPad and it asks for my Apple ID and Password I get an error message: "Verification Failed: there was an error connectin to the Apple ID server", it's connected by cable to my laptop and iTunes recognizes it, however I keep getting the error and I don't know what else to try if someone can help :)

Hi Sara,

It sounds like you're having connection issues with your iPad and I want to help.

Given the error you're describing is still a connection error, it sounds like your iPad is still not able to connect to Wi-Fi. Did you have a chance to set up via Wi-Fi during the setup assistant?

Did you restore your iPad and set up as a new iPad?

Here's what you would do to restore on iTunes:

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

If the issue persists after a restore, you should contact Apple Support, or visit the nearest Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, to seek service options:

Contact - Official Apple Support

Apple - Find Locations - Location Selector

Good luck!
