SIM card

Hello,

My name is Chahira. I’m struggling with some issues. Not long ago I changed my region/country to download an application. After downloading the app I changed it back to my original country/language (The Netherlands/ Dutch). Unfortunately, since then, my SIM card has stopped working. Or at least, it’s saying ‘No service’. Now I am not attainable and no one can call nor text me. I hope you know what the issue is. Please let me know what I can do to fix this!

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards,

Chahira J.

Hi chahira256,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're seeing "No Service" on your iPhone and this occurred shortly after changing your region in the App Store. I can see why you'd reach out about this; I'd like to help. Changing your country or region in the App Store shouldn't have an affect on your cellular service, but I'd recommend verifying that the correct information is updated using the steps here: Change your Apple ID country or region

Next, use the steps in the following resource to troubleshoot the "No Service" issue you're seeing, including contacting Apple Support if necessary: If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad

Best Regards.
