Apple Music - Student Membership Access Issue

I’m a college student and I’ve completed filling out my account with Unidays to get the $4.99 student plan, yet when it says I’ve successfully completed my account and gives me the option to “Open in Music”, I press it and all it does is open the app, load a blank pink, blue, and purple gradient page and nothing else happens.

I still have no access to Apple Music and I want to either make sure I’m not getting charged for it when I can’t even use it, or find a way to access it.

First see if you are subscribed

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

you can do this on your phone in settings

Go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.

Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.

Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.

Tap the subscription that you want to manage. ...

Use the options to manage your subscription.

Then close the music app and Restart your phone to see if this resolves the issue

it may be a connectivity problem so reset network settings in General - Reset

Ohhh it worked! I don’t know why checking my subscriptions didn’t pop up in my head, but thank you so much for your help! I can stream BTS’ new Map of the Soul Persona album now!
