How can I adjust the EQ when listening to a radio show or video on iPhone X iOS 12?

I listen to radio using iPhone through bluetooth speaker. How can I adjust the EQ when it's not music?

Unfortunately there is no "global" EQ adjustment, it is available in Settings but that's only for the standard Music app. Perhaps some apps provide EQ adjustment, but I've never seen one.

You will have to use whatever equalization settings the app that you are using has.

There are no EQ settings in the KQED app. I'm hoping there's a way to equalize all sounds emanating from my iPhone X, not just music.
