MacBook pro retina mid 2012 quits randomly

I tried shift, control, option, power for 10 seconds and that worked a couple of times but doesn't work any more. I also powered off for 10 seconds and it powered up but only work a couple of times. My battery condition says replace soon. Last night with power plugged in and a full battery the screen went black. I tried to restart but no luck.
