How to remove ringtones you put on iphone from itunes?

I have ringtones on my iphone xs max that are not in my itunes on computer so I can not find out how to delete them from my iPhone. Help

Thank you for stopping by Apple Support Communities. It looks like no one has responded to your question. Here are a couple things that might help others answer your question:

Were the ringtones that you see on your iPhone previously purchased from iTunes, or are they pre-programed ringtones?
When you log in to iTunes on your computer, are you able to see other purchased songs or albums?
Do you recognize the ringtones as ones that you previously used on a different iOS device?

Hello and thank you, I made the ringtones from a ringtone maker. Then went to itunes on my computer and itunes and there I put them on my phone. Now I made new ones and they are there in tones on iTunes but the other ones that were there before on the computer itunes they are not there anymore just the new ones I made. I just can not delete those old ones and I would like then gone from my iPhone. All my purchased songs and albums are there on iTunes. And yes the ringtones were on a previously iPhone 6s. Now I have the xs max.

Thank you for providing those details. Just to confirm, you created the ringtones using a ringtone maker app?

Have you tried the steps here and selected to "Manually manage music and videos:" Use tones and ringtones with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?

Thanks but I have custom made ringtones I made from a app with itunes songs. They are not on the computer when I plug my phone in. So I am trying to find a way to delete the ringtones off of my iPhone. I just have too many and want to delete them.
