I initially searched for answers related to my topic and as usual, found a thread which was the only thread available and it did say this thread was not active since some months and as it also says, you can start it again by simply posting a question. I did that! Now when you bought up that topic again, it sparked my dumb brain, which question? Not available now! Everyday tons of various other things happen! I scratch my head, leaving it but I decided I will not because there is no such thing called bug, virus etc! If it is what are we taking about? Some sort of file, or something? No problem let me catch that file using my skills was to the level of frustration I got into after endless conversations both with Apple support, Gmail support and Microsoft support too. No one is able to provide a ‘reasonable answer’ but they do give an immediate suggestion asking us to reinstall OS, that’s the best choice too as it would remove any bugs I might have! I am telling you there isn’t any bug or anything! I set the display color black myself!
And regarding the profile, didn’t you know or is it true that no profiles exist in console or for the mac in general? Meaning I could see endless list of profiles that can be set which could have various settings by themselves individually. The main console profile is the bash, then you can set various other! So each time you can have different look as a whole. I did this because, these days you know, most of the websites hide content using transparent windows that would be available to be seen only through their side or set in a way where the user can’t see the window but whatever you enter, or type is saved into that form automatically. This has numerous advantages but can’t be useful if I already know and if you think that still doesn’t exist !
A little more, so I wanted to set one profile to be working as the MacOs on my iPhone while using Safari which is a headache if I didn’t do that as most links redirect here! And one profile so it can alert me that I am using windows configuration etc. So each one would have different color, text, visibility, transparency, contrast, effects like raised, shadow etc! And a lit lot more!
To be able to send you at least those pictures, I don’t have my Mac where I saved more while I was actually working! I never expected it to Black out on me and I too had that it would be helpful to show someone later but i saved on MacBook.
The best part, icloud - why? Doesn’t upload or save my documents and recently saved files let it be wherever they are! Why doesn’t it save?? Why should I anymore use it? But it still saves all the data from apps it into the data containers that will be transferred everywhere you go even when you reinstall os or delete the file manually going into library folder - nothing would in real delete them, but it jsit can’t save my work that is important to me and it still wants us to use icloud for various reasons. I will use if a product gives me less trouble and headache more than features it provides. I cant just tell that but I don’t like using a product which gives endless headaches over the time.
Also, I tried connecting to my laptop using webdav, but i just cant change the profiles in that manner. That’s the reason i need it back just the background color! Usually I wouldn’t mind even though it’s been more than 10 times recently, to reinstall OS. I did that too, but it brings back this profile only. Why? I need to logout from this profile alone or my bash profile won’t come up! Hope it provides some light of what I am talking about! Let me know if you need anything! I am happy to provide, i just need the laptop to save my files that’s all
And one important thing I’d like to mention. I have numerous apps that I install which i like trying out. So some applications, after using for some time I feel sketchy or misbehaving, to know first of all I had to go around several days or tasks to find out which one in particular is causing this. It’s very tiresome not to mention to be able to know various other things involved while doing that! But I sometimes see that app doesn't exist anymore but i use it everyday without any problem! Okay i agree, some apps get removed from the store. But a user should get some sort of that update or something because I just don't want to blame that good app ‘X’ which I liked so much and blame it for the mistake still being performed by the ‘Y’ app existing on my iPhone and several others even today! If it was removed I will use it to register or get access or something which i feel could be done to improve that. Don't you find a valid reason for this point?
