Need help with locked device

Disabled my ipad with no backup. Apple recommends force reset which will lose my personal data (years of fun and loving memories :() Any suggestions on how I can recover personal data in this situation? Thanks a billion!

Once disabled, by design, iOS has one and only one means to regain use of the device. It must be restored in iTunes. That will inherently erase it. There is no way around that fact, as this is exactly how iOS has been designed to ensure that nobody, no one at all, can gain access to the device and its data without knowing the screen lock passcode.


Once restored, you would normally restore your data from your iCloud or iTunes backup. If you have chosen not to make backups, then you will lose the data on the device.
