I can’t get my visa gift card to work when I try to add funds to my Apple ID

I registered online, and added the card info to my Apple ID, I tried to add $10 to my Apple ID, the card has $20 on it and that’s what it says on the website you register it on. The brand of the card is a OneVanilla Prepaid Visa Card

You need a valid credit card with your name on it, issued by your bank.

You cannot use a gift card other than from Apple.
