My iPad gets wet and screen seems filled with shades and lines, though the IOS is up and running and battery is charging ok. Besides replacement, is there any other solution? Thanks

As suggested, do NOT use this iPad. They are not waterproof in any way and water is going to ultimately be its demise. Apple will likely offer you an Out of Warranty Replacement, which costs about 60% of the cost of unit when new. Water damage is not covered by Apple Warranty at all.
Switch it OFF. You shouldn't be using it.
Make a genius bar appointment with Apple for an evaluation.
They have diagnostic tools and can tell you what options you have.
