Missing shortcuts?
This is my first iPad and I find I am stumped on an issue. It seems I only have desktop icon shortcuts for apps in the first half of the alphabet. Where can I find the second half?
Thank you!

When swiping to the left there are 15 pages of icons. I am ashamed to admit that many are not enough for my needs. This iPad has a large capacity, and being new to apple I have done a lot of experimenting with a variety of apps as I learn what iOS compatible products I like best. I also have a lot of games downloaded for the kids. Maybe the answer is to remove a bunch of the apps? But there is still lots of available room in the device!
Absolutely:
You’ll run out of storage capacity long before you run out of app capacity. Based on my 12.9 inch 3rd generation iPad Pro running iOS 12.2, it has placement for 75,600 apps -- 72,000 on the Home screens and another 3,600 in the dock. According to one source circa 2017 the average iOS app file size is 38 MB. That average is likely higher today. Multiply 75,600 apps by 38 MB and you get 2,872,800 MB or 2.87 TB. The largest storage capacity in an iPad is 1 TB.
75,600 apps; do the math:
15 Home screens are available
20 folders for each Home screen
15 pages for each folder
16 apps for each folder page
15 * 20 * 15 * 16 = 72,000
15 folders fit in the dock
15 pages for each folder
16 apps for each folder page
15 * 15 * 16 = 3,600
72,000 apps in the Home screens
3,600 apps in the Dock
72,000 + 3,600 = 75,600
So putting items into folders will make room for more icons?
