Hi Everyone
I'd like to get Final Cut Pro X but I already own Motion (v5.4.3) and Compressor (v4.4.4). As these are integral parts of FCPX that I already own, is there an upgrade path available that just installs the rest at a discount?

I believe you have misunderstood. Motion 5 and Compressor 4 are add-ons and are purchased separately.
You will still need to pay the full price of Final Cut Pro X.
In previous versions of Final Cut Pro they came bundled with it, but in the latest version you have to buy all three separately.
