MacBook Air Stuck on Mute

My MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) that I've been using for roughly a year is currently stuck on mute. I can't hear sounds. I did some research and tried all of them eg. safe mode, NVRAM, SMC even created a new account in safe mode to see if my own accounts possesses glitches etc. but that didn't also change anything. I did not occur because of headphones and doesn't recognize them when its plugged. My computer is up to date with startup disk disk0s2. Any help would be appreciated very much.

You pretty much have already done just about all you can do to troubleshoot this issue. The only two things I can suggest are:

  1. Run Apple Diagnostics to see if there is a potential hardware issue with your notebook ... and if there isn't then,
  2. Make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options should a repair be required.
