Static shock

If I hold my phone in my hand, and I was to have a shock to have bcs im staticly charged. Or from barbed wire. Would that hurt the phone?

Phone shock Last night while standing outside with my kids I had my iPhone 12 mini in my pocket of my uniform All of us sudden I felt the zap on upper my leg , my iPhone that was in my pocket shocked me and let me tell you it wasn’t a little shock it literally made me jump and my hairs on my body stand , scared the crap out of my adult children because they didn’t know what happened ,what would’ve caused that should I be worried regarding my phone doing that again

Current flow on body while charging I feel some current on the side walls of my iphone 13 its brand new , so there is no chance of internal damage .... i just want to know if there is any chance of me getting shock by my phone or is its dangerous in any other way

I suppose it depends on how large the charge is, this discussion talks about the "possibility" of damage and discharge to "case" in an attempt to minimise the risk.
