To confirm, are you using an Epson EP-830, or did you mean an Epson XP-830? Are you connecting this printer to your Mac via a cable, or via AirPrint, if enabled. We also recommend making sure your macOS is updated to the latest 10.14.4 version and checking in with Epson manufacturer to ensure there are no available driver updates for your model printer/scanner.
