Having issues trying to run bootcamp on my Macbook Pro 2016 w/touchbar. I keep getting the error: your disk could not be partitioned. Use disk utility to help fix your issue. I've followed the steps of many online forums and watched countless YT videos and not a single one as help me with my issue.

BootCamp always gives partition error I have tried to get windows installed on my macbook air for a while but every time i try, I get an error saying that the disk failed to be partitioned. i have tried everything, like erasing the disk, reinstalling macos, i have tried it on older versions, tried using first aid and there weren’t any errors. my drive is 128 geb and I have a macbook air so idk what’s wrong with it and I have no idea how to fix this

Windows bootcamp not working Hello, I have a question about Boot Camp. So I wanted to install windows, but Boot Camp Assistant gave an error: "Your disk could not be partitioned An error occurred while partitioning the disk. Please run First Aid from within Disk Utility to check and fix the error". First aid said there weren't any problems. I am using macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. I have had Windows installed earlier, and removed it, but now I want it back.

Bootcamp installation error : could not partition disk Hi, I’ve been trying to use BootCamp Assistant (BCA) to install Windows and I keep getting “disk could not be partitioned”. Before even trying I restored the MacBook Pro 2017 with TouchBar without backup, I don’t need no backup. I tried most things I found online ; Tried runing Repair in Disk Utility, Restarted in Single User mode (Cmd + S) and typed in the commands to repair the disk, FileVault is OFF, TimeCapsule is OFF, I believe I’ve done more but cant remember (that’s a whole other issue that Apple can’t help me with...) Any ideas ? My next and last move is gonna be to go to an AppleStore’s Genius Bar to restore with Sierra, so my disk is in MacOS Extended Journaled, try install BootCamp, then update the Mac partition.
