Multiple versions of same app

Ever since updating to Mojave whenever I right click on a file and choose "open with" it shows a list of apps, most of which show 2 versions (e.g. "Preview 10.0" and "Preview 10.1"). I'm dual booted and running off an external SSD with Sierra still installed on the original internal drive, but not sure how/why it'd be showing data from that drive.

Is there a way to either delete the older versions or if it is showing apps from the other drive to hide them?

Thanks! I ran this terminal command, rebooted and it's all fixed

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user
