Trying to recover music after catastrophic hardware failure.

A few months back I had some serious hardware failures in quick succession. My laptop's hard drive and my external hard drive both failed about a week apart from each other. I stored my iTunes music library on both devices and have only recently been able to purchase new hardware. I've encountered a bit of an issue with backing up my music. Several of my purchased albums appear to have been removed from the iTunes store due to licensing issues. I still have all the music on my iPhone, but I find myself unable to sync my library without removing the now unobtainable purchases. I searched online for options to recover the music from my phone and could only find 3rd party options that I do not want to try.

Is there a way for me to transfer the music files from my phone to my computer? If not then what are my options at this point? I've identified about $40 of music that I can no longer access on iTunes and I would like to avoid repurchasing it on another platform.

iPhone X, iOS 12

See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - Apple Community. I would recommend the last three items in the table of recovery tools. I've used iFunBox (free) to successfully retrieve data for others, along with the two scripts that can read back stats and playlists.
