iPad Pro 1 year old - Stuck in boot loop and flases red screen

Hi,

My son has had a Ipad pro now for exactly a year -he was sat watching youtube when the ipad decided to reboot itself and then flash red. It does this over and over again as if its stuck in a loop but each time the screen flases red for 2 seconds then goes off and it tries to reboot again.

I have done a hard reset (Home and Top Button)- still does this and I have also plugged it into a PC to try and restore the Ipad -however this failed.

Does anyone know what this means and how it can be fixed?
