Is there a way to remove certain holidays from icloud holiday calendar?

There are many holidays that do not relate to my life. Is there a way of removing them from the icloud holiday calendar?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13

No. Unfortunately the holidays cannot be removed. You can choose another calendar from the many you can find by searching in the AppStore or online.
