Transfer files to flash drive from iPad
All I am trying to do is print to a printer that doesn’t support Air Print. Does anybody know a way to transfer files from an iPad to a flash drive without the need for a computer?

No. The sandboxed nature of iPad storage security makes it hard to move files around. There is very little support for moving files to and from iOS devices to thumb/flash drives except using special vendor attachments and using their software to move from "their" area on the iOS device to the drive.
