Turn off app install sound?

I have iOS 12.2 on my phone. Just installed today and I’ve discovered the App Store now plays an annoying chime and vibration when I select the “Install” button. Is there any way to disable this? I’ve turned off sounds for the App Store in Settings and that doesn’t have any effect.

Your problem is very simple and the solution is also very simple

whenever you want to download any thing from app store you have to simply make your iphone in “MUTE” mode not in “SILENT” mode because of silent mode contains some vibrations.

To make your iphone in mute mode you have to go to

Firstly make your iphone in silent mode

you can do it by pressing down the which is locating upside of volume key button then go to:

settings > sounds > turn off the vibrate on silent button and reduce the sound volume and lastly turn off the keyboard clicks button.

Thank you for your reply but that’s not a solution, that’s a workaround. I know how to mute my phone. I shouldn’t have to do that anytime I want to install an app. I’m looking for a way to disable the sound for this particular action without having to do so globally. If there’s no way to do that currently then that’s a horrible design decision on Apple’s part.
