On my mac I have upgraded to Mojave. Now I have a problem with my Canon Printer. I get a note with information that I have to upgrade something else for my printer, and I can not understand how.

you likely have to go to canons web site and get a driver for the printer model which support mojave if canon support mojave on that model.
