Deliever to APO/FPO address

Hi, I am a member of US Armed Forces in Europe in Sicily at the moment. Therefore, I have an APO/FPO address.

I would like to get an iPhone for my family.

As it is mentioned in Apple website, they don’ t deliver directly to FPO addresses, but it is possible to deliver via freight forwarding services.

Which one could I use?? Could , please sb tell me the procedure? I have some gaps after reading the relating info at Apple website.

And an additional point. What if I buy an Applecare + Theft and Loss service. Is it applicable in my case?

Thank you in advance

Hi, Evgenia,

Thanks for stopping by the Apple Support Communities. I understand you are currently stationed overseas with the United States Armed Forces and are wondering how you could order an iPhone for delivery to your APO/FPO address. I'm happy to help!

Per the information outlined in APO/FPO Shipments section of Shipping & Pickup - Shopping Help - Apple, you can sign up via a third-party forwarding services, such as APO Box (or another of your choosing). Once you're set up with the forwarding service, they will provide you with a shipping address. Use that address when placing your order for your iPhone. The iPhone will ship to the forwarding service via that address, then the forwarding service will ship to your APO/FPO address.

In addition, you would be eligible to purchase AppleCare+ with your iPhone as well: AppleCare+ - iPhone - Apple.

If you have any additional questions, would like more information, or to review your options in more detail please get in touch with Apple Support directly: Contact Apple Support.

Cheers!

Thank you for following up, Evgenia,

As previously mentioned, you would be able to purchase AppleCare+ to go with your iPhone. While the AppleCare+ plan can be honored in Europe, some restrictions may apply depending on the country you seek service in. Detailed information about this can be found here: Legal - AppleCare+ - Apple.

If you have additional questions or need further explanation, please speak with Apple Support directly: Contact Apple Support.

Have a good day.
