Since a recent upgrade, every time I want to autofill a password I am asked for access to keychain by touch id or machine password. How do I turn this off? All the threads I find so far are for iOS not osx

Make changes to your preferences:
>System Preferences>TouchID
Uncheck the Safari box

Other options which may require your password can be turned off

and >System Preferences>Security & Privacy>General>Advanced>require password

Great - but I only have the first three options - no Safari AutoFill to switch off. Nothing in the other two either or in Safari preferences.
