use touchID for macos login after reboot

hi, im not sure. if this is possible but how could I only use touchID for logging on macos Monterey instead of manually typing in password. is there an option that we can turn this on at our own risk, if we decide to? this option should be a choice of our own I believe, not a choice forced onto us by Apple

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

As previous mentioned - not possible for the same reasons presented

Suggest the user look very carefully when starting the computer from a Cold Startup

Just below the slit box where you have to Manually Type in the computer password.

To paraphrase " you must input the password to use the Touch ID " or words to that effect

That would further confirm requirement for manual input of password

Choose how you want to use Touch ID:

  • Unlock your Mac: Use Touch ID to unlock this Mac when you wake it from sleep.

The wording Unlock clearing means once the computer password has been input
