Dual Sim CDMA & GSM issue!

Hi everyone, I been an Apple user for quite sometime now but I been encountering an issue. Right now I have 2 services on my iPhone XS Max.

Verizon = Physical SIM (Primary) (CDMA)

T-Mobile = eSIM (Secondary) (GSM)

iOS Version: 12.2

Mind you the type of network should not matter because both are running VoLTE.

When I am on a call with my Primary line my Secondary will show “No Service”. This is the same issue when I am on a call on my Secondary line and my Primary line shows “No Service”. No notifications will come through!

Upon further testing when I am on WiFi-Calling for both services. Both services will show signal Bars

VZW WiFi

T-Mobile WiFi

Apple has stated that only 1 Sim (either the eSIM or the Physical SIM) can be used for CDMA. By Apple’s wording if I have 1 CDMA and 1 GSM it should be just fine and therefore should not have issues with “No Service”.

I have attached some pictures for reference. I hope this can bring some attention to this issue and hopefully it will get resolved soon.

I have talked to both backends of the networks. Both said this is an Apple issue

Posting those articles without reading my whole post is just not being helpful. Please if you don’t read and understand the root problem please do not post thinking that is the solution.

I forgot to add this bit of information. I also have the iPhone XR and that one has been activated with dual sim as well. This is my observations:

T-Mobile (eSIM) (Primary) (GSM)

T-Mobile (Physical) (Secondary) (GSM)

Everything works even when I am on a call on either line the signal does not drop.

T-Mobile (eSIM) (Primary) (GSM)

AT&T (Physical) (Secondary) (GSM)

This is the same as well everything works! There is no drop in service.

I already talked to Apple support. They said my phone is “functioning” correctly. The point of Dual Sim Dual Standby functionality is have both services active but as of right now it is NOT functioning correctly during calls for “CDMA + GSM” lines on the same phone. However “GSM + GSM” lines on the same phone ARE functioning correctly.
