Making calls from ipad

I set apple id same for iphone & ipad but i can not make calls from ipad,

I haven't activated esim, so please make me sure that calling from ipad is available for esim in iphone or not?

iPad is not a cell phone, even with a sim card. Cellular for iPad is for Data only. You can use continuity services to make and receive calls on your iPad, only if your iPhone is employed.

I already explained the issue. iPad is NOT a cell phone. You will NOT be able to make cellular calls from an iPad by itself EVEN with a sim card in the iPad. iPad does NOT have a cellular radio like a cell phone. The link I provided explains how to use Continuity Services for your iPad. If you thought buying a cellular iPad, made it operate as a cell phone, you were mistaken.
