I have set up my daughter with her own iCloud email but somehow her FaceTime is connected to my ID and I don’t know what to do to break this link.

On her device, see what ID is signed into Settings/FaceTime.
Does she have her own Apple ID? Is she signed into Messages/FaceTime using your Apple ID? Is her address listed as reachable at in FaceTime?
Yes she has her Apple ID. How can I tell how she’s signed in? I have set her up with a child account and everything is separate except FaceTime
