apple watch

so I just got my replacement Apple Watch in and I’m trying to connect it to my phone when it says to put a new Apple ID for the Apple Watch it comes up as another person’s Apple ID so I pick that’s not it so I put in my Apple ID and it just goes right back to that screen it does not do anything so it’s not working
