iPhone X video quality is worse than iPhone 6s?

Hello,

I have been attempting to film makeup videos using my iPhone and some very expensive studio lighting -- however, all the videos I shoot using my iPhone X come out looking all cartoony and the quality looks awful. I just brought my busted and broken iPhone 6s from the grave, and to my surprise the video looks much better? Both videos have been filmed with the 1080p at 30fps setting.
