Does apple still send emails when find my iPhone is used?

In the past when I used find my iPhone, I would get a email saying where its located and at what time. Does that feature still exsist?

iPhone 8, iOS 12

You will receive an email from Apple if you..

Disable "Find my iPhone"
Erase your iPhone after it is reported as stolen
When sound is played after being stolen
