my ipad is lost. i used find my phone and on the 3rd day i got an email saying it was found and the location would be available for 24 hours but it will not give me the location. what can i do

It sounds like you received a phishing email. It sounds like your iPad’s security was less than robust.

The email is likely a phishing attempt to get you to respond and log into a site that appears to be Apple and by doing that to divulge your password.
