Imessage was acting quirky on both my husband and my phones. It would hang with a blue bar almost all the way across the top, then switch to "not delivered". This week, we can no longer send the blue iMessages to each other. We have 12.2 version IOS, and just started the end of April 2019. Is anyone else having troubles with iMessage, and how can we solve this?

iMessage work on internet protocol. Check your internet connectivity and internet network strength.
It cannot be any other issue.

Is your iMessage activated under Settings > Messages?
Are you connected to Wi-Fi or Cellular trying to send an iMessage?
We are both sitting in our living room on wifi, data turned off. Phones are both 6SE phones, and it is sending them green vs the blue imessage
Yes, we are both in same home connected to same wifi. This worked fine until the past week. No settings are changed, iMessage is enabled as it always has been.
