WiFi iPad with sim slot

Dear apple this may sound crazy but I bought an iPad Air 2 128gb

it is a has sim card slot but the inside is WiFi only

what could have happened to this ipad

iPad Air 2, iOS 12

If you have a sim slot, you likely have a Wifi + Cellular iPad. But it doesn't just automatically connect to cellular for data. You have to establish a data plan with a Internet Service Provider and get a sim card from them.

Post back the 2 numbers you see in

Settings > General > About > Model > there are 2 numbers here, tap to see the second number.
