IPhone 7 Bluetooth connection with Volvo XC60

Just bought a new to me car (2015 model). Can connect to my phone but can’t receive calls and when I make a call the phone doesn’t connect so the person can hear me but the reply doesn’t come through the car speakers.

Also can connect to my music but can’t access it through the car system - have to control via my phone.

Followed Volvo’s suggestion of deleting and re-paring. Not helped.

Any ideas gratefully received.
