iPhone 8 Plus stuck in dead battery charging screen.

My iPhone 8 Plus got stuck in the dead battery charging screen. It's been stuck on that screen for about 4 hours and I've tried the following:

Heat the phone with a blow-drier
Unplug the phone and wait for the battery to die completely
Try to put the phone in DFU mode or recovery mode (non-worked)
Charged it to see if the screen went away.
Cleaned the charging port

I must say, I was charging the phone on a wireless charger certified by Apple. I don't know if the wireless pad was the main source of the problem. Does anyone has an alternative solution to what I've tried already? If so, please share it with me. Thank you.

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

You might want to try charging with a corded charger to see if the results are any different.

Why would you heat the phone? That sounds abusive.
