iPhone 6s Lightning cable work with iPhone eight

Will my current lightning cable accessory that I use with my iPhone 6S work when I buy an iPhone 8… Meaning if I would buy it from another person and they don’t give me their accessories would I be able to use my lightning cable for my iPhone 6s on the eight yes or no?
