Hi there, recently I got a message on iTunes (itunes could not back up the iphone because the backup session failed) when I try to backup my phone, I have the latest sw on iphoneX and iTunes. Till now I had no problems doing back up. any tip to solve this?

OK sergekills, this time with uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes the backup went just fine. I was very short not to do this before, however, I thanks for your help.

Do you have an anti-virus on your laptop? Try to disable it while backing up.

I have already done this, as I said i have the latest sw of iTunes (12.9.4.102), the lates sw on iphone, did reset on both devices with avast disabled, after three second the popup window says the very known phrase....

The cable is the same but i switched the port with no luck
