iTunes store poster images always black boxes.

The poster images for movies, music, or tv shows are always black boxes. I reinstalled itunes, and went through suggested steps, but result is the same.

is this a known bug? is there a workaround?

Some users have posted that disabling any DPI scaling option has helped, although in the other threads I'm seeing there has been grey "noise" for album covers rather than a subtle graded tone seen here, so that could be a different issue.

Thanks turingtest2, the DPI was the issue.

I went into properties, clicked compatibility tab and click change the DPI settings -> override the high DPI settings and then posters looked correct. Odd thing is this was working a couple of days ago, and then stopped and I can't recall if there was an update that might have triggered this bug.
