I just purchased a new ipad but when I went to activate it is does not give me the option to set it up on the Verizon network. All major carriers except Verizon LOL
did the sales person at apple give me the wrong device??

No. Apparently, Verizon never did support Apple SIM, whatever. You have to do it the “old fashioned way.” Go to your local Verizon Corporate Store, reps will activate iPad on your wireless account with their own NANO SIM card.
