Whats mix bus mean?

I have a couple of clients I teach who are asking what 'mix bus' is.

I have told them I will explain next week, but I just want to confirm, mix bus is just the 'Stereo Out' right?

just where all the tracks are bussed to?

Just wanna be sure!

Yes, stereo out, also sometimes called the 2 bus.
