I cant open .Jar files

So I tried to open a .jar file the other day and it told me i needed JDK, and so i got it and now the message does not come up. But when i open it is says it fails to open and the console tells me this:

Invalid or corrupt jarfile.

Is there any easy way to fix this?

Try re-downloading the file. Otherwise, contact the developer for help.

Which JDE did you install? Most likely you need one from Oracle unless this is for a machine requiring Apple's old JDE: Download Java for OS X 2017-001.
