amazon prime app not working

The Amazon Prime app stopped working today. When selected I get a gray screen with the loading whirl forever. The only button that works is the "sleep" button, that takes me to a nearly AP screen, but none of the features work there. I've restarted the AppleTV several times, no change. Auto updates are uptodate.

I'm at a loss.

Try force -closing the AP app:

  1. While on the Home screen, double-click the TV button on the Siri Remote.
  2. Swipe to the right on the trackpad to find the app you wish to force-close.
  3. Swipe up on the trackpad to force the app to close.


you could also try deleting the app and reinstalling.


It may may also be an Internet issue, so troubleshoot that as well.
