is someone trying to use my ID

in the past week I've received emails twice about my apple ID being blocked due to someone in China trying to log in. then iI get a link to follow that wants me to enter all my data including my SS#, which I backed out of.

I then went to the apple site and all my info is correct.

What is happening? should I be concerned? It's about my Apple.com or iCloud emails which I never use

Should I be changing my apple ID? I do have two way authentication enabled and have to have a code to confirm. Just worried and hoping for some confirmation that my account is ok??

Those are phishing emails. Ignore them. If Apple disables your account they notify you when you attempt to log in, not by email.

Apple will always address you by your name or the name they have on file for you, not Dear Customer, Dear Client or by using your e-mail address.  The e-mail will be from @apple.com or @iTunes.com. E-mail addresses can be spoofed. You can go to Mail/View/Message/Show all Headers to see more. Apple e-mails will never contain an attachment. Apple will never request personal information such as Social Security numbers.

The only exception to the above I have noticed is if you order something from the Apple Store (apple.com), your receipt will be addressed to Dear Apple Customer. That is a receipt for a purchase you initiated.
