Apps available on iPad
I was wondering if the apps available on the Mac are the same on the iPad. Such as the Microsoft word, excel and so on?
Thanks

No, Mac apps are not iPad (iOS) apps. If you have an office 365 subscription, you can download the MS Office apps for iPad and sign in using your MS ID and Password, but they are scaled down versions, not full laptop versions.

iPad is an amazing, wonderful tablet. But it is not a full featured laptop. It does not have mouse support and while you can many things with many apps, they are never full featured like on a laptop. If you need a full laptop experience, a MacBook is your likely best choice. Most of us have an iPad as a secondary device, not our primary device.
If you are a heavy computer user and used to working with full featured computer applications, then any iPad will be a poor primary computing device.
iPads are not laptop/Macbook replacements.
As long as Apple is still making a MacBook line, iPads will never be on equal footing and feature parity to MacBooks.
Love my iPad Pro, but I still own a full featured Mac.
Thank you for the quick reply. Settles my idea of getting the iPad vs a MacBook.
