iMac connected to wifi/ethernet but can't access internet

My iMac 27" late 2015 has just decided it won't access the internet through any application.


The router is fine, all other devices are connecting and working ok either through ethernet or wifi connection so it's a problem with the mac.


I've turned the wifi on/off. Renewed DHCP Lease under the TCP/IP settings. Deleted all browser history. Run diagnostics. When I reset the computer there is a very brief moment I can connect to a website and load up an page, then I can't load anything else and the computer is not connected to the internet.


Any help would be really appreciated.


Is this a keychain issue?

Lets look for any obvious issues. Please do the following:


Please navigate to the Mac App Store and download the free version of EtreCheck OR please click www.EtreCheck.com where you will find the app. Once you downloaded the free app and created the report please post it as your reply to this message. In order to post it, please use the following link for more detailed instructions on how to correctly include the results:

We can then look for obvious issues that may be causing your problem.

Not that I am aware of. I seem to get about 10 mins of internet activity before the computer gets stuck when I navigate to a new page. Restarting the computer gives me another 5-10 mins of use before the same happens.


I just tried adding a new location under 'network' in system preferences. On the new network I was able to renew the lease and got a few more minutes of use before it stopped again. I can;t figure this out at all.
